PELAGIC Pro Team Captain Johnny Uhr and the crew of the Seay Goddess win the 2009 Poco Bueno!



 Capt. Johnny Uhr and the Sea Goddess Victorious once again...

Capt. Johnny Uhr, with an all-star crew consisting of legendary Blue Marlin Chasers Captain, Clay Hensley and Australia's Bo Jenyns, Conquer the tournament field in the Gulf aboard the Seay Goddess.

The Seay Goddess, a 66' Paul Spencer built Carolina Custom Yacht, is one of the most recognizable vessels in the Gulf of Mexico. Continually on the prowl in tournaments in the various Gulf States, they have had their share of killer victories in several different tournaments.

Poco Bueno...

The Poco Bueno is one of Texas' most publicized and expansive events, with one of the largest payouts as well. On July 17th and 18th, the Seay Goddess once again dominated the field by winning the tournament with a 429lb Blue Marlin, along with taking home over a half a million dollars. It was one of the highest paying tournaments in Texas history and consisted of a field of nearly 60 boats.

What is next for Captain Johnny Uhr and the Sea Goddess?

The crew of the Seay Goddess continue their tournament dominance and will be taking a shot in the Rockport Offshore Challenge, TX International Fishing Tournament, and the Texas Legends Tournament.
